Oh! MBA

Life has taken a big turn upside down. And it still feels dizzy inside (how I just hate roller coasters!)

Let me be honest and simply accept this - I had always prepared to get into my dream B-School and dreamt of a starry job after it but I had never actually thought of 'Life in a B-School'. Confessing this (yes that seems to be the buzzword around on the FB pages, the poor priest at the church has his own parity issues now :|) I just can't blame the 1 year so far at MBA for how much life has changed!

Abandoning the deary old blog for BIG 3 months that's a whole quarter gone waste and  is such a lagging indicator (uff! spare those MBA terminologies) Enough done.Things gotta get back on track now. I mean writing just doesn't need to end up on reports or those big article writing competitions neither do traveling has to be just for exams/competitions/placements.

Do I hear cribbing? Not exactly! Putting back my optimistic mode on, it actually feels good to be
> On the other side of those PagalGuy B-School top 10 rankings
> Doing a 'good' Post Grad is a boost enough in front of those 'when-are-you-marrying' hungry Indian relatives
> It is actually a long break from work and summer internships are a happy reminder of that fact
> Actually being part of an MBA classroom with a diverse batch, meeting new group of people and blah blah
> Remembering all those shiny phrases used in the Why MBA essays and interview preparation answers.. few things do make more sense in them

( Gosh! Did I just made those bullet points? I was searching for smart arts next!
No exaggeration intended)

Fine, I do get senti about those top-ratings and appraisals at work and compare it with the initial not-so-good GPAs but then wasn't being a student the easiest job on earth! To my utter surprise the strategy class and all those talks amidst those heavenly short naps on 'core values' and the importance of those mission/vision statements definitely make world a better place to live if you simply stick to your cores. It actually feels good to have some realizations and focus back on track; courtesy the summer breaks (read internship) for the much needed time at Home, that too at my (well - almost) first innings with family in the national capital which deserves another good post for sure.

PS. Few things just make you feel at home..Feels good to Blog again :)
